Community West Foundation, based in Westlake, received a donation of 1,200 pairs of socks through the Socks+ initiative from employees at the Lorain Metropolitan Housing Authority.
The donations will go back into the community, including to the Haven Center homeless shelter, 1536 E. 30th St. in Lorain, and other organizations.
